Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 24, 2026
This policy covers the easytestdata.com website and EasyTestData Cloud. Copies of EasyTestData that you run yourself (for example with npx easytestdata ui on your own computer) send nothing to us and are not covered here. The playground generates data entirely in your browser; nothing you generate there is sent to us.
EasyTestData is free. We do not sell anything, do not collect payment information, and do not run product analytics or advertising trackers.
1. Information We Collect

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on secure infrastructure. Security measures include:
- QBO OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 with unique initialization vectors per record
- All connections use TLS/HTTPS
- JWT tokens with short expiry (15 minutes) and rotating refresh tokens
4. Service Providers
We share limited data with the following providers, only as needed to run the Service:

We do not use analytics providers, advertising networks or payment processors, and we do not sell your data to third parties.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
We use browser local storage to persist authentication tokens (JWT access and refresh tokens). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
6. Data Retention
- Account data: Kept while your account exists, and deleted when you ask us to delete your account
- Job artifacts (generated files): Deleted automatically about a week after the job finishes
- QBO tokens: Deleted immediately when a connection is removed
- Logs and error reports: Kept only as long as needed for security and debugging
7. Your Rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data. The web app lets you remove QBO connections yourself (finished jobs and their downloads expire on their own, see above); for everything else, including correcting your account details, exporting your data or deleting your whole account, email support@easytestdata.com and we will do it for you.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to data transfer to and processing in the US.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We post changes on this page and update the "Effective Date" at the top to reflect the most recent revision.
